Football40 is a new style of 11-a-side football aimed specifically at the Legends Market, designed to inject new opportunities and excitement into this popular sector
With its 20 minutes each way format, it enables a four team tournament to be played as a single 3 hour event comprising of two semi-finals and a final. The rules have been enhanced to suit the format, with unlimited roll-on roll-off substitutions, a sin-bin and changes to the off-side and other rules making the game, fast, exciting and competitive. The Sahara GCC London Legends Cup at Craven Cottage (Fulham’s home ground) was the first event of its type in the capital.
